okay so i get in my truck after driving to the grocery store try to start it turn the key and all i hear is a weird buzz noise that goes away kinda like a fizzle. didnt smell anything burning. now when i turn the key the relay just clicks i took out my radio and can put my hand on the relay and feel it when it clicks. i just put a new starter in it so i dont think that could be it since its not doing aynthing. anyone have any ideas? i really need to get this thing out the parking lot!

Pull out the starter relay. Using a heavy gauge wire, jump the red and purple wire (on the plug). If it starts, it's your relay. If it doesn't, you've got more places to look. Maybe a bad solenoid on the starter?

Bad battery connection.....

I'd agree with this more. It sounds like your starter is getting power, but maybe not a lot. It could be a lot of simple things like your batteries are just drained too low or a bad cable thats not letting much power through efficiently.

Check all your cables, your starter relay, if you can't figure it out from there it might be that your starter needs a shim to line up right, since its a new starter this could be the cause.

Check your starter, try adding some shims or taking some away, it is new so that may be your best bet for now.
