I dont have too much to go on yet, but I hope someone can help me out a little bit with some information and maybe a supplier of parts.

Model is RS15611NFSF
7.1:1 final ratio between the r&p and planataries
Both were manufactured in 1989 by Rockwell International.
Air brakes on both.

I was told they are a 5 ton rated axle, but I think they are more 7 ton.

Does anyone know anything about these, or can lead me in a direction to find more information? Main thing I am looking for is maintenance parts suppliers.

This is a picture of the actual axles.

I was told they came out of these type of vehicles

If those 5 ton axles have air brake cans on them that tells me that the axles are setup for use on the m939 5 ton series truck they all have full air brakes on them !!

I am far from an expert, but I think the 900 series uses a top loader axle... and does not use planatary ends.... and I think the 900 is a 6.44 or something ratio.

So, not quite what these are. They are air brake axles, thats for sure.

Are the axles front load like a commerical tractor trailer ?? If they are ,then those axles probablly are used on the M915, M916, M917 and M920 series truck. If you want to use them on a M39 series or M809 series 5 ton truck you will have to redo all the air system for the brakes to a M939 or M915, M916 series truck style of air brake system !!

DO YOU HAVE SOME PHOTOS OF THE AXLES ??

Yes, front load. Here they are...

But, I thought that the 900 series were not planatary axles?

Looks like they are 2.5 ton. No big deal there.

But, at least something is being found!

Now to find a supplier and hope parts are not out of this world!
