Does anyone know of if there is a speedo gear made that replaces the stock M818 gear to fit in and synchronize the Michelin 16.00 x 20 (XZL)'s????? I would like to get my speedometer to be calibrated???

:driver:well I have found if you take one off a deuce that had 11:00 tires on it stock (adapter) your really really close. My M813 came with 11:00 tires and I installed 14:00 with the adapter and the spedo is close enough to where it counts.

I got one from a member on here. otherwise I'd start calling the dealers. it made my speedo work perfectly, it just doesn't go high enough anymore. I can do 70 with the big tires.

What does the adapter come from in the first place? I would love to have a somewhat accurate speedometer!

hemmt. just like the topic says
Actually, the topic was about an 818 with hemmit tires needing an adapter, not about getting the one from a hemmt.

Ok, so to take this right, the adapter for the deuce for running the 11.00 tires would put my speedo close when it has 16.00 tires on the 818?

Haha Aaron, I doubt even THAT worked on that car!

if you want your speedo to indicate correctly with hemtt tires you need the hemtt speedo adapter.

if you want your deuce with 1100's to read right then use a 5 ton adapter.

I've been searching everywhere... does anyone have a source for the correct 5 ton speedometer adapter for the 16.00's.

I think a different 90deg adapter would be preferable over a second adapter added to the whole assembly.
Currently have the factory adapter for 11.00 tires installed.
