blackout light.jpghi all
here is my question
i have a 1959 reo 6x6 m35 that i am modifying
this truck did not come with 4 way flashers, turn signals ect.
i have purchased a later model wiring schematic with these mods incorporated into the truck.
i have the wiring schematic for my truck.
it looks pretty straight foreward as to what must be done
i bought the flasher, turn signal switch, wiring , lights, and all of the nesessary parts to do this mod== " YES THIS IS NOT ORIGINAL "
but to be safe on the higway i am incorporating this

what i am looking for is the small aluminum wire indentifier tags for these wires
i am enclosing a pic to show what i am talking about
any one out there have any leads
thanks

Check shipping charges when buying these, it would be considered 1lb via UPS. Ask to have them ship USPS first class mail...less than a buck....

Why not buy a M35A2 wiring harness, and swap out your old (probably dry rotted) wiring harness with all those features? I did this to a 57 Curtis-Wright M35 about 15 years ago. It's been a long time since I didi it, but I think you have to extend the starter wires as it's on the other side of the block, and you have to find a hot lead for your distributor - I'm sorry, I don't remember which # wire i used, but it took me about half a day to get it installed and functioning. Just a thought, it's easy to do.

Is it a gasser? If so there's a NOS harness on ebay for $75 out of CA. I bought 2 they're nice and you wouldn't be dealing with 60 year old stuff.

An NOS gasser wiring harness would be 95% better than the original one, but a M35A2 would be 100% better because it has the provisions for turn signals/hazard flashers already incorporated in the harness. No hunting and splicing needed. I'm electrically challenged, so for me that was the easiest route to take. A multifuel A2 harness will work in a gasser with a little modification to get power to the distributor, and the starter. Trust me, if I could figure it out anyone can do it!

I bought two of the gasser wiring harnesses; one appeared to have provisions for the turn signals.
