Earliest manufacture date of CUCV

M1009? I've got one that's dated 8/84. I was wondering what was the EARLIEST the M1009 was manufactured.

I got a late 83

My 1009 is an 1984 model. The Plate said made in 10/83.

Late 83 are the earliest I've seen, which make it an 84 model year.

I believe CUCV's were 84-87. Which would be mid 83 manufacture date.

From what I can see supply wise the initial contract awarded was to MILITARY VEHICLES OPN GENERAL MOTORS TRUCK AND BUS GROUP MS 2603-02 on 07/01/1982 for 5,201 units of m1009's with contracts totalling 9,962 units of m1009's.

I looked it up online in something alot like fedlog.
