Welcome to SS. I am in Rockmart GA along with Twright. JoeM62 and Wreckerman are just down the road. We have many (too many) MV's and trailers sitting in the yard including several CUCV's for sale. We are about 40 minutes from Smyrna.

But too bad I never have time to visit people (On the clock you know...)

Please tell me more about those MV's, trailers, and CUCV's for sale.

I would like to get a simple MV trailer for my M1009,
so I can haul cargo when I need to, but I cannot afford to spend much
for one right now. (business is slow at work this time of year... bummer)

Perhaps if am in that area in the future and not on the clock,
a visit could be in order if that's okay.
And if I come up then, I will bring my M1009.

I would say come and visit me - but I know jack about CUCV's and all you would be able to see at my place is a sissyfied M109 - kind of like the JC Whitney catalog all thrown into one vehcle.

I live in GA too, but I'm not sure how much help I'd be working on a M1009.

My parents watch these fireworks from their front porch, they live off GA Hwy 20, about a mile from Hwy 575. It's usually a good show from what they tell me!

Haha, I know you guys have tons of info to help a newbie like myself out!! In fact, you guys have already pointed me in the right direction a few times on some issues. There are a couple of things I need to try to do on my own first, before I'm back here, asking questions. I don't wanna be THAT guy, you know...


But my patience isn't the greatest, and the truck didn't even last a week for me. I'm working out some of the kinks. The begging I was referring to would be to come out and help me hands on. Which might come in a couple of weeks, we'll see...

I live less than an hour from Smyrna and I'd be glad to compare notes. However, at the moment, I'm only a MV owner in theory. I'm STILL waiting on the d@&n EUC to clear! I have a friend in Smiths Station, AL that has a M1008 that would be glad to show some mods/upgrades on his truck also.
