Any M1009 owners running 32 11.50 15 tires?

I've got 33x12.5x15 goodyear wrangler MTR on mine. No lift, just had to clip a little chunk off of the back of the front right fender because it rubbed a little when I turned right.

33x12.5" is a MUCH better looking aspect ratio than 32x11.5" if you ask me. Hate the way those wide squatty tires look. But then, I'd prefer 33x10.5" tires to 12.5" wide tires on most vehicles too...

I was suprised, actually...I don't like the look of a 'squatty' tire either, but the ratio worked out pretty well.
Are those the 32" tires?

If I had it my way, I would dig up a set of 16" wheels and run 16" tires on it, tall and skinny. I was looking at some 285/75R16s... Those would be sweet on my M1008, they are a really nice looking tire.

I think they would be too tall for my M1009s though. Thanks all for your responses. Glen

I recently installed BFG 33X12.5X15's. My girlfriend says it drives better than with the Goodyear that had been on there....and those tires still had a lot of tread left. Hey CROM, How do you like your MTR's??

33x12.5x15 on mine. Had a suspension lift done for two reasons. The right turn rubbing and the suspension was shot anyway. Had to install a short wife assister step.

Kind of hard to get stuck in the mud with them, so I couldn't justify buying a new winch to the wife :p. They're smoother than I expected on pavement, and actually pretty quiet. We'll see how they do on ice in a few months, but overall, I'm very happy with them.

I have 31x10.50 on mine and went with those as I did not want to cut my fenders and was not planning on putting on a lift. I have not had any problems with rubbing, but i kind of wish I would have went with 32s after finding out they would not rub. Oh well, the 31s are still good and have had allot of fun off-road with them.

For those of you that went with taller and wider tires, did you notice a change in mileage or performance?

I need to get new tires on my 1009 and if I can go a little taller and wider, then I will.
