Can anyone tell me the rear axle ration in an M915A? Just bought one in Topeka and trying to decide what it is going to do for a living.

Picked the truck up last Friday. Runs about 64 at the governor, about 2300 rpm if the tach is accurate. Speedometer agrees with the following vehicle. Allison is slick...was a rainy day and bobtailing it is close to breaking loose if you floor it from a stop. Brake balance is terrible..as expected on a short wb bobtail in the rain. Drives great and rides okay considering the walking beam suspension. Moved the excavator with it Saturday...not quite a sporty at 70k as it is bobtail, but I'll bet on it outrunning any other tractor we have up to about 50 under load.

It was probably the lowest condition truck up there. Kinda wishing I had bought three or four more, in better condition. My brother is determined we are not going to use this truck as is, but I think he's at about 4-1 against his postion. Everyone who has driven it really likes the allision. I think it's gonna haul some grain!

Pics to follow..don't know where my cord is to hook up the phone to the laptop.
