normally you get volume that is too low.. but this thing is LOUD! even with the volume all the way down its way loud.. all the way up its not tolerable..

anyone know how to reduce the amp output, i looked in the TM it talks about squelch and tones but not adjusting the audio out. I also looked around the inside for a pot to trim down didnt see anything obvious..

I have seen other amps, notably in the R390A, where the ground connection on the volume control gets corroded, and the low end volume becomes intolerably high.

Tightened the grounds off the volume control...
