Put the tarp on the back today , There is 1 rubber rope , the other side i used what i call parachute cord .

2 questions .

Where can i purchase that rubber rope ?

can some one post a photo of how the tarp should be secured ?

I have it tied down for the trip to Petoskey to help with the fundraiser but id like to know how the military does it .

Again i had no luck with a search , is the tarp called something other then a tarp ?

Tarp = Cargo cover

Eric (319 on here) has the "super rope" listed in the classifieds.

One piece from front to back, through the eyelets and stretched down to the hooks.
While they may not have any super rope to spare, the boys up there in Petoskey will be able to answer any ?'s you can come up with.
The rear of that cargo cover ( if it's the one that I had) has been cut out. I had suggested using a canvas end curtain for that end.

I can't make Petoskey Saturday, have to do some maint / repairs on a rental house.

DW, I have authentic Super Rope in stock, send me a PM if interested.
I was planning on heading to Petoskey on Saturday but right now i'm not sure if I can make it. If I do, I will bring rope with me.

I bought 3/8 rubber rope from e-bay, a little over 0.20 per foot with shipping. 150 foot spool (enough to re-rope twice). It is american made, cheap, holds up well, and if you cut it at an angle to get it started, it will slide through the exsisting holes in the cargo cover pretty easy.

Im slowly getting smarter , i did find the resource button , found the TM section and i figure with in a month or so i will find what im looking for in there rofl

The only problem with lots of info is trying to find that small bit your looking for at the moment .

Bob , yes it is the cargo cover your thinking of .

Dave , i may be interested in an end cover you mentioned . Ill send you a pm .

The front zippered opening , the zipper is off the cover . If i can fix that fine if not i may be looking for a good used cargo cover .

I havnt a clue what a good used cargo cover would run , less then a new one im sure . Plan to leave it on for the winter even though it will be in a covered shed .
