I connect the exhaust at the air inlet of the carburetor and this way to keep the high part of the engine clean

a back roads mud covered deuce is just as perfect.

does the exhaust pipe exit at the rear of you truck or dog leg to the side under the bed ?
i can't tell where it's routed in the photos...
