If you get a CUCV and it needs an exhaust system, the best bet in your area is to go across the line to Stainless Exhaust in Fredonia, PA. There is a fellow on this site in the county north of you that sells CUCV's.

I replaced my mufflers with a free flowing triple chamber muffler. Fairly quiet until you gain upper rpms and then you do hear the muffler a little bit more.

Does make it RUN much better. Goes well with my K&N air filter and modified air filter top.

Good air in and good air out makes her a happy camper.

X2 - This is a great mod on a N 6.2L.

VForce Mufflers are cheaper than Flowmaster and just as good. I had my M1008 done at a muffler shop ($647 for dual pipes and mufflers). The pipes are 2 1/2 inches. The difference in power is very noticeable on hills and the sound is powerful, not too aggressive. I will do the same some day when I get my M1009.
