M200A1 hub / drum assembly

I'm in the process of taking these apart and hopefully some parts I'll be able to tell by looking but I wonder if anyone knows which, if any, components are the same as the deuce? For example wheel cylinders? brake shoes? etc.

I checked the TMs a while back when considering scrapping an M200A1 and the part numbers were different, so i'd guess not the same.

That's what I've been doing since I posted this--checking the TM's. I have found the part of the M200A1 TM that has the codes and part numbers for each of the parts, but apparently I don't have the deuce TM that lists these part numbers. I'll keep looking but if anyone knows exactly which deuce TM would list the part numbers for the hub and brake assemblies that's what I'm looking for.

Ha, DB I just found TM 9-2320-316-20P and was flipping to the hub assembly section. What's different between -20P and -34P?

After comparing the part numbers, it seems that the M200A1 hub / drum assembly has no parts in common with the deuce. However there are many parts used in the M332 hub / drum assembly so I'll hang on to these for that purpose. Thanks DB.

Here is the low down on -20P and -34P. This is the same for ALL TM's:

-10 is the operator's manual, a "P" after the -10 (-10P) means it a parts book. Parts in this book would be for the operator to fix/replace

-20 is for the units/motor pool to use to repair things move in depth than the driver would do. Now a -12 would be a -10 and -20 in one book.

-30 would be for a maintenace unit to use. Like taking a car to the dealer to work on it. A -13 would be a -10 + -20 + -30 all in one. a -23 would be a -20 + -30 in one.

-40 is what the depot or manufacter would use. A -24 is a -20 + -30 + -40 , A -34 is a -30 + -40

A "P" after any of these means a parts book.

A " &P " means its the repair book and parts book in one. Smaller things like trailer use this.

3" 8pt - fits M35A2 2.5 Ton Truck and M200A1 2.5 Ton Trailer
3-3/8" 8pt - fits M105A2 1.5 Ton Trailer

Wow, old thread. I ended up giving the whole axle assembly to a scrapper. Not the brightest move, in hindsight, but the missus was sick of it on the lawn. Can't blame her, I was too.
