Wanted Transmission indicator CUCV

I am looking for 2 transmission indicators for the CUCV M1010 and M1031. The item I am looking for is the indicator in the dash, the one with the little red arm. I have 2 CUCVs and both indicators are broken. So I hope someone has them or you can send me to someone who has them. Thanks

You can get those at the pick and pull for a few bucks apiece. Best bet is out of a 70's truck, those were before the overdrive transmissions and it won't matter if it comes out of a truck with a TH350 or TH400 - it's just counting clicks.

LMC and Classic Industries have what you are looking for. Problem with the pick and pull parts is that they are just as brittle as the broken one you have.

That's true, but they don't break off in a vacuum. Too often the shift indicator and/or other dash parts aren't installed correctly so that when the clear overlay is put on and the gauge bezel installed there is a bind and the shift indicator rubs the clear overlay. If you get them lined up correctly, a used indicator will do fine.[thumbzup]

Thanks for the info on LMC I will give them a call. Unfortunately there are no pick and pull's around here. If the vehicle is over 15 years it goes to the crusher.

I got lucky buying one for my civvy Blazer and scored a 3-speed auto shift indicator from LMC, or maybe it was from Classic Parts, but it has the rare red pointer. Got it for the going rate, $38.50.
