That must have seemed like a bunch of gibberish but to local yokels it means lets have a big bonfire in the desert and relax from the daily grind.
It's a Southern Kalifornia thing.
We have a strange way of talking.
However the shovel weenies were originally imported from up north I believe and have become a staple now.
Desert alarm clocks are a rude awakening after a late night out. (funny I always seem to get blamed for it)
The flaming donuts well that is just something you have to see to believe.
And to see a bonsai run by somebody on a quad at one is well just flat out special.

Until you experience it first hand you just won't understand.
