Now that she's running, driving and stopping reliably, we moved her outta the shop Saturday (and drove her around the compound a little).

Now she is gonna sit awhile until Troy and Tony can fabricate some parts to get the cooling fan etc operational.
Once that's done we'll take her out the gate and bounce down the road in the industrial part for a "shakedown" run.

That is one healthy piece of engineering driving around, it is great to see you got it to Go!
Hope to see more pick of the Goer driving around.
Thanks for posting.

M818 of Death will be there... I've been pulling a 50k loaded tanker of WVO around with it.

I pulled a 200 ton locomotive and 7 100 ton stone cars off a barge with my m109 once... It will be there too.

I'm not seeing an issue here...

I believe it is NOT that there will not be vehicles capable of pulling the GOER out of the muck, it is that the GOER will be back in where
no one would EVER want to take a 5Ton wrecker,
in their right mind of course.....
(I will not venture into this area...)

Then again, it could become a festivsl of recovery(s)
and we are not talking about from some bad habit or other problem,
unless of course you include OD GREEN ADDICTION.....:D

Just my two cents

With 75+ vehicles at the 10 rally, so think about 100 for the 11SSGAR, so with 100 on the mind, I am sure that ENOUGH trucks and chain/strap/cable will be on hand to COMBINE to get ENOUGH pull to pull the TITANIC sideways, in the middle of a dry field, so a stuck, LITTLE ( as compared to the TITANIC) GOER should not be problem

I hope that IF PAPABEAR is convinced by the rest of you
and does venture into the fields of wet grass and muck
with the GOER and does happen to find himself
either stuck or broke down
(not that I am wishing that upon PB)
PLEASE, PULLEEESSEEE take video
of the recovery and
we can use that as a
training film for generations to come......

nopics

Remember, Inquiring minds want to know
ALL THE DETAILS!!!!!

I've meet Gimpy from SS, what one are you talking about?

I'm scheduling vacation for GA this year, and the GOER is one of the reasons! 700 miles in a M108!
