rubber oil line convert. and other crapp... my 1009 with 700r4 I finishing up the turbo today and relocating the batteries tomorrow, although it looks like rain. I have tranny & engine after cooler in stalled also I may install a thermostat on both depending on the operating tem

Unless I'm mistaken, the M1009 does NOT have a tranny to transfer case tie bar. My M1028A2 has one, but it is one of the CUCV's with the NP205. I don't think the NP208 transfer case has the tie bar due to the fact that the NP208 transfer case is made of aluminum and a very light case, compared to the NP205.

But like I said, I may be wrong.

I got the tranny in bay city a while back off a guy the 208 came out of cow pasture never seen one bolted together til I did it. Soooooo, I guess I will google myself silly lol

700r with a 208? came in a ton of trucks from 83-87. I personaly have never seen one with the bar but its nothing to make one to fit it. I made one for my 4l80e/205 combo.
