I have searched and found what I already knew about the Plastic fuel lines and all that... I have a very good idea I know the answer to my question but I would like to get a 2ed before I start my next project...

Are the Injector return lines low pressure? like under 100 PSI?

I am starting to make Multi fuel, total fuel line replacement kits (all soft lines).
The kits will be made for FDC bypassed systems and will include instructions to install the kit on NON FDC bypassed trucks.

Kits will include main feed lines, fuel filter lines, injection pump and injector return lines. I am on the fence about the flame heater lines.. all I have owned leaked and are more of a PITA then its worth. For $50.00 you can get a ether kit.

I have a fuel pressure guage plumbed into my system. runs up to 55psi when started and running cold, settles to 35 psi when warmed up. Don't know why engine temp makes a difference?

cool. The fittings I am going to use are USA made but because of the small size are only rated to 150 PSI working pressure. I will post pics in the weeks to come. We are getting another round of snow and ice here in WI.

most people just use truck air brake line. it is UV proof, reinforced, and the correct size. (it is all std size 1/4" 3/8" 1/2") just use brass inserts and nylon ferrels and do not over tighten.

Because the fuel warms up and thins out, just like oil pressure.

I have been running air brake tubing for years. It works fine .( It is not see through ) I had a terrible time finding male tubing nuts . Found steel replacements but no brass does anyone have any brass fittings they would be willing to part with ? Thanks and have a great and safe day,Dave :cool:

I got all my stuff from Napa but you have to change out the brass fittings on the IP to work with the synflex. Put plugs in the FDC and done.

I'm quite fond of the clear line, it's really nice to be able to see when air is leaking into the system. Is the stock line just not available?

Ace is correct could be a little as deisel is has up to 2% air in it already.
There was someone that invented somekind of trap that removed this air before it goes through the IP system from what I read.

I'm using air brake line. Using the inserts , but I had to dremel grind the lip off of one side of the standard brass ferrules so they would seat correctly. About 2 years have passed , so leaks so far.

I have located at Ky. Fluid / Air Products in Florence, Ky. Just to lazy to replace with it working !!!! They have or can get all the fittings needed at reasonable rate.
