I see that my ignition can be turned without a key in it sometimes. I know I can get a new ignition lock cylinder for under $20; but I was hoping to keep it stock so I don't have to have two keys, or have to have the door locks rekeyed to match the new cylinder lock.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement?

Most key shops can do what you want... take in the cylinder and your key and they should be able to rebuild it ...... or just post in the classifieds for a used CUCV tumbler.

Check with the guy of Fleabay that has all the M1009 stuff. Maybe he has a new one.
