Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
The fat head.... 427 El Camino.... or the tire?WOW!![]()
Mine was the first yours is the second, that I've seen. I know it can happen but I've never worked a tire shop so my exposure is nil.Hey Jeremy! That looks like it has a double chin! How bad was the tread puffed up? I have seen a lot of tire sidewall bubbles, but nothing like those folks had. I am looking forward to that shake myself! Glen
You sound like me - too many toys! Muscle cars, military trucks, nitro R/C trucks, so forth and so on...You guys went and did it now. I slammed the door on my deuce and now I have an enormous headache, you guys got my head so puffed up, it will no longer fit in the cab.
Seriously though, I appreciate the kind words. I have been hosed a few times in life, but I also have been blessed with some very good friends, a few I met here... I will go out of my way to help a stranger.... it may be his turn to help me next time! Besides, how else would you get to see the cool stuff in life?
Coming home from a car show, there was a couple broke down along the road. They had watched the bulk of over a 1000 street rods thunder by, I stopped and it did not take long to see what their problem was! I included a couple of photos of my old 427 Elky, just to prove I have worked on and driven something that was not flat shades of green in my life..... Glen
