GL payment question

first time GL buyer, i won a bid. my CC# is on file and up to date. its been almost 24 hours. my understanding is that GL would automatically run my card and mark my invoice paid in full. is it normal to take this long or should i call customer support.

i just remember reading a horror story of someone getting thier account suspended for having some issues like this.

Is your item an EUC item, if so you will not get a paid in full until the paperwork comes back.

When I won my trailers, they got their money out of my account on Monday following the auction. But no PIF until 12 days later.

Also make sure of your spending limit, and clear it through the bank.

What did you purchase? If it was and EUC item until the EUC comes back approved you won't receive a paid in full invoice, otherwise you should get the invoice soon.

The last trailers I purchased, GL took 4 days before I saw a change of status on my account page.

Check you GL page and click on links for the invoice and c\click on the "event ID tab", the "event description tab" and finally the "invoice payment history tab" all the way on the right side of the page.

I won a water buffalo from fort meade yesterday. They pulled the funds this evening. But the paid in full invoice won't show til my EUC clears. Its a weird deal the first time thru.Good luck and what did u buy if we may ask ?

A word of advice, don't hold your breath waiting on GL. sometimes it is a little slow. But be patient, it will happen. Just make sure you fill out your paperwork on time because they won't wait. If you have to submit an euc, the first time it takes a while to get cleared. Good luck.

thanks guys. i just filled out the EUC and emailed it to them. i see the payment has just been taken from my credit card (oddly principal only, not sales tax). If i screwed the pooch on the EUC i understand they will let me know? i think i'm in good shape.

I got a 101 A3 (only one listed in this event). i hope it's not too stripped when my euc clears.

Sounds nice ! Yes they will contact you If u messed up the Application. You have a limited time to respond so keep checking your e mail. I don't believe your trailer will be stripped. It doesnt have a lot to take and all the peices are big. Good luck !

Even though the invoice shows the sales tax GL won't charge you the tax.
Don't bother with the SF97 BS,Then Md title, just register it in Maine.
Maine gets $90 to register and 5 years worth of tags. Md zapped me for almost $200 in taxes, title, tags and inspection fees for just 2 year tags.

cool. yes i'm planning on going through maine. I'm never giving MD another penny for a trailer.

just waiting for GL to acknowledge receipt of my EUC now.

I also am waiting on my first time submission of an EUC. How long are they likely to take on this? I was told by GL that it would be 6 weeks or longer. I saw some chatter of EUC's coming back quickly but don't know what to reasonably expect. I have to plan my recovery and knowing the time frame would be helpful. Besides that, I really want to get my Deuce home and hate waiting!!!

Too add to what Bob said, I get on Live Chat first thing in the AM and have them confirm receipt of your EUC. Any receipts over the weekend typically get lost or so I've found.

I would love to be able to use my companies email server since I get a receipt confirmation, but there are some things left unknown to the company.

Also make sure that your drivers license pic is clear, in color, and finally vaild, meaning not expired.

yeah my DL is full sized, you could read it from 50 feet away.
