Been wanting one for quite a while and finally got one. Picked it up in Oregon last week and towed back the Cadillac with it cause friends RV couldn't pull the Cadi, lol. Drove it from Bandon, OR to Pacifica, CA when we picked it up on the 101.

Things to do (short term):
- Fix horn
- Fix window cranks/lube the window mechanisms (they're stiff or whatever it's called).
- Windshield wipers
- Make extra keys
- Replace or fix speedometer (jumpy needle).

Long Term plans:
- find/install Whip antenna mounts and antennas.
- Roof rack
- Winch and winch bar
- Make slant-back and spare external tire rack.
- Rhino line floor
- lift just a tad
- Bigger tires (Thinking 35's).
- Transmission cooler
- Turbo
- Pre-air cleaner
- Repaint (No worries, will be camo. looking for CARC currently).
- Get some spare parts (Altenator, glow plugs, etc).
- Replace window and roof gaskets (still mostly good, but might as well while top is off while fabing slant-baclk).
- Wire and discretely mount civilian stereo/GPS
- Make center console/locker/gun safe
- etc. etc. etc.

Open to suggestions, but these are my plans as they come to mind, currently. Probably will start a blog and keep track of everything, as I do it. I'm soooo excited to have this!

How did it pull and what kind of mpg did you get pulling?
Welcome to the ranks. Pretty clean looking. I wondered this too. How about some interior shots. Looks like you didnt get this from a gov auction...

Your gonna love it!

For the jumpy speedo needle; I removed the cable from the back of the speedo, there's a clip you have to reach up and engage with your thumb. Then I took a can of spray lithium grease, pull the cable slightly out of the jacket to get more clearance, about 1/4 inch, and shot as much as I could down the jacket. Put it back, drive for a while, repeat a few more times. Problem solved.

Watch the roof rack, It will make you top heavy if to much weight on top, It will act as a lever and cause you to roll over. Also to much weight will crush the fiberglass shell. Enjoy the truck. I like mine also. I now have my winch in use and my off road lights also. (grill mounted).
