Hello guys I am trying to find the TM Manuals for the PTO on the Deuce and I have not had much luck.
Can anyone point me to the P/N for the TM manuals for the PTO and seal replacement.
Thanks,

OD Iron has the complete seal kit for the PTO. I've seen a few kits on ebay as well. To answer your question I don't have the P/N nor the manual

I've been trying to find gaskets and seals that aren't made in China or Korea.... I no longer think I have a choice. Ebay, Memphis, OD Iron... They're all selling New Star brand.

I have the numbers for all of the seals except the shift lever seal... seal numbers
*
drum seal clutch side* National Seal Brand 455091, Chicago Rawhide 48693 $24.27
drum seal*gear side National Seal Brand 415991, Chicago Raw Hide 34889 $10.74
pinion seal brake side National Seal brand 471141, Chicago Rawhide 17645 $8.48
pinion seal drive shaft side Chicago Rawhide 17675, $10.70
All of these prices are the Chicago Rawhide because thats what came out of my winch and they were cheaper than national. The place that has these is www.kscdirect.com As for the gaskets mine were okay... All the seals are made in the USA and chicago rawhide is the best in my opinion.

to be added to the list above....

Winch shift shaft seal dimensions: 0.75 x 1.25x 0.25
National/Timken #470954 or #7443 for C-R/SKF

G.

EDIT: Actual shaft diameter is .688" (11/16"), NOT .075" Seal dimensions are 0.688" x 1.25" x 0.25"
Catalog numbers for a (recommended) double lip seal are: Timken/ National #471538, or C/R / SKF #6765

I apologize for any inconvenience caused from posting wrong info.
Thanks davey8943 for pointing out my mistake!

G,

I took a couple of the shift shaft seals to the local seal supply store. They looked it up as a 0.6875 (11/16ths) shaft size. Quoting me a CR / Timken 6767.

The CR / Timken numbers you posted are for 3/4 inch shafts (CR/ Timken 7443).

Do I have an oddball shaft? Is there something I am missing?

Thanks for all your wisdom!

Dave

No, 11/16" IS THE CORRECT SIZE DIAMETER for the stock shaft!
The CR / Timken numbers you posted are for 3/4 inch shafts (CR/ Timken 7443).
My bad, glad you noticed the mistake! Must have grabbed the wrong box.... wonder what was going through my mind that night... (mucha cerveza....?):-?
...... Quoting me a CR / Timken 6767.
The (real) dimensions for the shift shaft seal are: bore 1.250", shaft .688", width .25".
For a double lip type seal the catalog numbers would be Timken/ National #471538, or C/R / SKF #6765.

Seal, PTO shift shaft.PNG

Note: Bore depth (in PTO housing) is .472", just enough to install both, the boot retaining ring (.22") plus the seal (.25")
You can use the #6767 seal offered if you are not planning to install the dust-boot.

Does anyone make the lock ring for the boot? I am resealing a PTO and one of the lock rings for the boot is damaged.
