Roger.

What does putting the 6.5 injectors do for it?
Gives it more fuel.

I bought 6.5 turbo injectors.

I have a brand new pump turned all the way up, 6.5 injectors, and the sidewinder kit no muffler dumped out the side. This thing rips for a 6.2. I have also entered multiple truck pulls with it.

Ah ok. Did you get them from Banks too? Are they very expensive?

These guys on ebay sell the 6.5 or the 6.2 marine injector tips for like $80...
CHEVY GMC 6.5 6.5L DIESEL MARINE INJECTOR NOZZLES | eBay

that's the one where I bought from them. I have not actually sent them the info they need, because the 6.2 has three different thread pitches/patterns so I have to remove one of mine and count the threads (I think), but I need a 30mm open end wrench to remove the injector and the only place that I've found locally that actually stocks the wrench is HF... sigh, I hate using them... which is why I still have not done that job yet

Great info guys, thanks. I thought about doing the ala cart thing from an HV, but to be honest, I'm not very experienced in this sort of thing. I'm a computer geek, lol, so it may be best for me to purchase a complete kit from Banks, especially since they're very highly recomended. That way, I can get support should something not fit quite right, etc.

I'm still debating on doing the install myself, or pay a mechaninc. Personally, I'd like to try my hand at it. That way, I'll learn more about the platform and would be able to troubleshoot it more effeciantly, down the road, but I also don't want to screw up my new toy, nor the expensive kit, lol. A little bit of a conundrum, but I have done engine swaps back when I was younger (cheap camaros, lol), so I think I would be able to handle most of it.

As far as the 6.5 injectors: I'll keep an eye out for them. Good point on the TP. I'll make note to check those when looking at them.

I appreciate all of the recomendations and ideas, guys. It helps a great deal!
