in the back above the 14ff is a round valve with a arm on it.

Never knew that it was a valve. I was under there for a while this evening and didn't notice.
I got the new lines installed this evening and they fit great, but I didn't have time to bleed the brakes. One thing that kind of had me stumped though was why the new front brake lines came with snap rings on them (see picture). I cannot see where they serve any purpose, but I left them on there anyway.
