How does the m925 do in sand?

Before I buy one of these, I thought I would see if anyone knew how these trucks do in loose sand. I.E Silver Lake Michigan.

That really depends on tire selection...Most heavy trucks do poorly in dry light sand, your tire choice can improve or hinder the overall operation.

What do you want to do with it in the sand?? That makes a big diffrence too.

These trucks are great in the sand

I have taken several different trucks beach camping (ankle deep and deeper sand) in Matagorda TX. The M939A2 series trucks are the best I have taken because of the auto trans and power. I have taken bobbed deuces, deuces, M35A3 deuces, 800 series 5 tons and 939 series 5 tons.

When the sand transitions from hard to soft you just give it more fuel.

My ONLY complaint is that the tandems buck in really deep sand under acceleration. Adding shocks to the rear axle from the axle to the frame will stop this. What happens is the tandems are free to pivot about the cross member because there are no dampening devices (shocks).

I'd prefer super singles, but may end up with a dually set up.
