I currently have a 1.5 ton M105A1 trailer, I just got a S250 radio shelter made to go in my M1028, My question is the bed for the trailer is the same dimension of the truck bed, has anyone ever seen a shelter carried around on a trailer....?

The trailers in all of the pictures are M105's. The S-250 will not fit into a M101a1 or a2. I think that it may go into a3 because the wheel wheels are different. Mine sits in a M105 and it really works nice as a weekend camper. Put a small window A/C in it and you will be able to sleep well in the FL heat.

I don't have pics, but i have my S-250 in a M101A3. Works great. I stayed in it for the Findlay show.

Well I had a couple of 101 genset flat bed trailers (w/o gensets) on my watchlist just for mounting the shelter to. But it seems they have been pulled. :x

I figured on pulling the M105A1 with the shelter on top, bolted to the trailer. I pulled this trailer from Denver to Michigan with my m1028 pintal hitch, I reinforced the rear bumper and frame. Since the weight is even over the trailer Axel I feel I could pull the shelter to California if I had a mind to. What is the groups opinion..?

Truck looks good, I don't think you will have a problem with it like you said if you center the load over the axle. Plus that will give you about a foot of storage in front of and in back of the shelter. keep us posted.

The high center of gravity, on the M105 with S250, may make for a wild ride. If you do not get enough tongue load it will want to play crack the whip, on down hill grades. It would be a bad feeling to have that trailer come past you.
So, just buy a Deuce.

Pulling it is easy with the trucks...emergency stopping on the other hand:roll:. I had a lady cut me off while I was towing an empty 105:evil:. I hit the brakes And it got hairy. I was using my diesel F-250 going about 45.

And Timass1 i'm dieing to see some pics of the inside of your s-250.
