Did anybody ever made a dump truck into a hydraulic hook-lift hoist container truck?

Some friends brought that up here. For all kind of work, especially home rebuilding - these small container trucks are very popular. With the hydraulics for the dump already installed, it should be relatively easy to make a system for putting off containers. Something like swaploader

Here is another example

Not exactly how I mean it, and I don't know the proper American terms for all systems, but you get the idea. Anybody?

I have seen the smaller cargo version its with a cab over type truck that is in the modern inventory. They are really cool. I think using a knuckle boom and a set of roll-off style skids would make a really useful all around cargo mover.

I think a long wheel base extended cab deuce would be sick. You would have a crane truck and multiple beds. I'm thinking flat, cargo, dump, and even camper. I've heard my neighbors to the north use systems similar when they are working above the arctic circle on drill rigs. Not military but this truck looks fun.

My plan is to have several beds made from 20' Containers.

I would like to have a flat bed, dump bed, box (several, actually) and a camper.

The Kenworth is great and the PLS shows that at least with the really big boys it existed.

Back to basics: did anybody ever made the conversion for real with an M35 or M39 (or other 5-ton truck), especially using the existing dump hoist system for it?

I would think you could install a pair of winches in the forward bottom corners of the bed just underneath if you can find room.
Add a ramp made of conveyor rollers.
