Did you buy the truck from Wreckerman??rofl

OK...sorry...change the filters? Clean the tank/fresh fuel?
That's a good start IMO.

You get more power from diesel. If you have some mix in the tank that includes paint thinner, you're not gonna get the performance you expect and may even be heading towards trouble.
If the tank is pretty empty, you may get away with filling it up with diesel. If is still pretty much on the full side, empty it out and put diesel in there.
Multifuel engines run on a lot of different fuels but not all fuels give the same grade of performance.
Also, while you're at it, check your in-tank fuel filter for algae or anything else that doesn't belong there and may clog the filter so that your engine doesn't get the fuel it needs to run better and faster. I would also replace at least the primary fuel filter.
Good luck !

Or did you get it from this guy. (hint...he has been known to wear a pink tutu).

I did successfully run laquer thinner in one of my deuces (mixed with WMO)......never had issues except for the smell and the cleaning qualities. Had to change filters two times before all the crud was cleaned out of the tank.

Start with the easy things first. Make sure it's getting full throttle.

Ahh! I didn't think of that ^.
What kind of RPM are you seeing at 35 MPH?

What's your exhaust look like? Is there a lot of smoke, and what color is it? I'd also check to see if your brakes are binding. You might want to check your injectors as well.

exhaust is ok s not much smoke how do i check injectors?
If you don't know much about injectors, you're better off taking them to a good diesel shop that can do it for you. But I would try all the other suggestions first, especially since you don't have alot of smoke (suggesting a problem with the combustion of fuel)

One of mine was doing that and changing the filters, running staight diesel with a good dose of power service additive in the silver plastic jug took care of things. Also check the air filter to make sure its not a mess or looks like it had something living in there.

Its easy to check the turbo if it is suspect. Pull off the tube from the air filter and see if you can move it with your fingers.
