M101 vs M105 Trailer

Can a deuce tow a M101 trailer or is the tongue to low? Do I need to stick with a M105 if I want to tow? Also, do the 101's have any kind of brakes? The photos I've seen don't show and air hose/brake line like the M105's. Thanks for any input.

The lunette is a tad low for towing with a deuce, but I have seen it done. Very hard to see while backing. No brakes unless it has been upgraded to surge brakes.

If you already have a deuce to tow with then go for the 105. It might be a tad bigger but its way cheaper and it was designed to be towed behind the deuce.

On the other hand, if you can only have one trailer and you want to tow it with both, the 101.will work. I have towed the A1, A2 and A3 versions with my deuces with no ill effect.

Get with Kipman; He towed an 101 with surge brakes to Haspin, so he has first hand experience!

Kwai and I towed a M101 behind a M109 600 miles one day a few years ago. They follow great. You can't tell it is there unless the early morning or early evening shadows are just right though.
