M1009 rear brakes

I looked in the TM and it doesn't realy help with my problem. The other day I used the parking brake and ever since the rear drum on the drivers side seems to be "sticking." I tore it down and shrank the adjuster so they wouldn't be touching the drum itself. Now I can tell that every time I hook a trailer to the truck that it's dragging down via that brake again. I know it not the trailer dragging because those brakes are not hot. The brake shoes looked fine, but they have not been replaced as far as I know.

Any guesses whats wrong? Or what should be replaced?

Grab your parking brake cable about 12" from where it comes out of the brake backing plate, and pull/wiggle it some. I bet it is sticking in the cable housing.

Cable lube or replacement may be needed if you want to use your parking brake.

Wiggle your cable, vigorously. see if it goes away.
