Got tips for better MPG's from LDT motors?

How are you guys judging how much fuel you are putting in the tank.My truck has a line on the outside of the tank that says
dont fill past line.Do you guys use that or do you fill it till you cant put any more in it.Because if you go by the line on the tank how do you know you are putting the same amount of fuel each time,and not adding a gallon more or less.Which will knock off your MPGs.

When I remove the strainer to fill. I fill it untill the individual gaps in the strainer container (funny rhyme) can't be seen anymore and the fuel is up to the solid ring part.

I use a wooden dowel, which is marked off. It's about 1/4 inch/gallon.

Different fuels have different BTU (heat) values and veggie oil/bio fuels have much lower numbers as does gasoline when compared to #1 or #2 diesel. The kind of fuel will effect your MPG.

Sometimes...you may want to clean it now and then...

I get 8.2 with mine it is bobbed with 395s. Run it at 60-62 mph on the highway. Never checked it with canvas on but it dose seem to make her work harder I also run Lucas in everything! If nothing else it cuts out a lot of noise!!
