MKT-85 Recovery...?

We were looking for a really cool rig to start our street vending and catering business...found it. I found an MKT-85 in excellent condition in Livingston Montana. I went to a Farmers Market and a guy was doing exactly what I wanted to do. He was catering off the MKT...way cool. I bought the one in Livingston, only 20 minuets from were I live, did not have to travel far.

We pulled the MKT with our M109A3 for vending, and it was great. We had so many people come up just to see it, and showing the truck to people, letting the little guys sit behind the wheel, was one of my favorite things.

However, our situation has now changed. What to do with it now?

If you had a few more posts I'd say slap in the classifieds. As it is, your best bet would be eBay. Just like you there's lots of folks that think it'd be cool to own one or want one for commercial use or, better yet, for use at club events, Boy Scouts, disaster aid, etc.

We use ours for Boy Scout long term camps as well as for fundraisers. If you don't want to use it, contact a local Scout troop and see if they would be interested.

The griddle is the best part of the MKT. So much so that I bought a 2nd one for mine. I'd say unless someone was just buying it for the deck and trailer part you'll pretty much ruin it by parting it out that way. Might as well sell it to an aluminum scrapper.
