Online GMC Manuals ????

Anyone know of a location for online GMC manuals? I am trying to find the part numbers for the dump bed and tailgate for a M215 dump truck?? I have read that they are the same as a M59 dump bed but need to verify this ASAP.

I have been told the same. Some of the GMC parts manuals were in our now.defunct database. Sadly,untill the site is updated, they are securely lock in the cybervault.

None have the GMC manuals. I think it's the ORD 9 that has the info I need. I found what is supposed to be a rust free/dent free M215 bed just up the road with all hydraulics for a little over scrap price. Going to look this weekend. I just need to make absolutely sure they are the same. (sure looks like it).

The 8024 manual is just operations. Parts would be 1819. But so far no luck finding part numbers

I just skimmed threw all 13 manuals I have and no part numbers for the 215 bed. Pm me with an email address and I can send what I have off to you.

It will be in the G749 ORD-9, probably chapter 18 (which I don't have).
I looked up the M59 parts in my G742 ORD-9 now just need the G749 info.

M59 Tailgate p/n 7409016

M59 bed, with gate, no shield p/n PSB-A4079 or RC-862E17

M59 bed (above) w/hoist assy p/n RC-873E17 or GW-M2020841 or SD-915946

If anyone has the info from a G749 ORD 9, or a link to one i'd appreciate it.

Both manuals I have ( TM 9-1819ac and TM 9-8024) only show the cargo body.

The only thing I found was to reference TM 9-1918C for the dumb body and I don't have it.

I also found the dump body for a M215 was either a Garwood 2026286 or a Perfection A-4079 both are 2 1/2 yard capacity

Found this pg 578 TM 9-8024 Hope this helps

Looks like the beds are the same then!

I'll ask about the PTO also. He shouldn't need it since he has a water tank on it now. If I can get it i'll just need a block off plate for the trans.

I think what you needed was TM 9-1819C, can't find that either.
