You can clean the shoes with brake cleaner if they are still serviceable.

Ditto. Clean the oil off, then scuff the shoes up with rough sandpaper. A light sanding will get the lining looking like new again. Beats paying $30 or so per shoe for new linings if yours are still serviceable.

I got one axle's worth of drums off and the shoes are completely soaked through to the core. Checked the axle vents and they all function,pop up and down.Must be all the outer seals leaking. The wheel cylinders look good and dry though. Had a lot of grease/oil inside the drums, no wonder it wouldn't stop.

Thanks for the vent information, I will check them out Saturday. They do seem to be leaking more in this heat though.

This is how my A2 is. It had a few drips from the seals sometimes but on the hot days is when the wheels would get drenched in gear oil and I had to break it down at that point. I've noticed the hubs run way hotter on the hot days too.

They may seem okay but can still build pressure. I thought mine was okay when it popped up and down and when it started leaking immediately after i replaced all the seals i got fed up and took all the vents off and no more leaks

Clay, did you clean and re use the shoes?.
So what did you put in place of the vents?.

The weird part is none of them got gear oil on them even though the wheel was completely soaked in gear oil. The pads were fine so I just reused them and adjusted them and man this thing stops when I push the brake pedal now. For the vents I'm going to run lines up to the cab or air filter so no pressure can build up in the axles. They're just open right now but I'm not doing any fording so it should be okay until I install them.
