I am making a serious effort to get the deuce up and running again. But it was missing a lot of parts when I got it and they hacked some stuff when the stole my parts. So now I am trying to put it all back together. I think I have everything I was missing but I need some help in figuring out how it all when together and if I am missing anything else. I really need to see how everything went together around the air compressor. I have a nice, shiny, rebuilt unit ready to install but I need to know how the fuel and air lines were routed as well as the wiring. I also need to know what connected to the injector on the end closes to the radiator. I am assuming it is the number one injector. Also to know what all is going on around the air filter housing. What goes where and what do those unattached lines go to. I appreciate any and all help I can get on this.

I don't know if there is anything here you can use. I just happened to take some pictures of my M109A3 engine yesterday. Hopefully, there might be something in there that matches up. I haven't even looked at them yet. Pick and choose at will.

Thanks for the photographs and keep them coming. I see different information in each one. That diagram really dumbed it down for me, that is what I needed, thanks!

I was hoping to get out to the Hooch and examine some trucks. But my school and work schedule is taking up all my free time.

Thanks for the help so far. Now I am facing the areas in theses photographs. What does that large tube connect to that runs down next to the turbo? It "looks" like it may be a breather. Also, Can I get a little more insight on the tubes that are hanging where the air filter assembly mounts? I think I have a handle on them, but I want to make sure. And finally, can I get some photographs of the front driver side of the engine? I need to see the area where the air pump sits. Right now I am sorting through my scrap tubing to see if I have what I require for making new fuel lines. I will be posting a whole new thread about the fuel system soon.

The big tube is the slobber tube. Fine as is. You can put an extension on if you want. Most trucks are like yours.

The tubes on the fire wall are for the air compressor governor. Figure 100 of the TM 9-2320-361-20P

Does that mean that tube just dumps on the frame rail and side of the engine? If so I would like to axtend it to avoid the mess.
Yes it just dumps on the frame rail. Some trucks slobber a bunch and some very little.

All it takes is some hose and a clamp to extend it below the axle.
