I would think it would work, it's missing the PTO shaft (that wouldn't have worked though). Make an offer on it and I'll pull it off.

I have a feeling this will meet the tail end of this 5 ton. A la pctrans' 5 ton.

Can the MK17 boom be used as a "wrecker" with tow bars?
I sorta doubt it. Maybe for short distance, but you're asking a lot...great deal of different forces going to be acting on it unless it has the legs that attach to it for support, I think you're out of luck.

Feel up to pulling that air cleaner assy off? Wouldn't mind having that to install on my deuce.

Push it with a deuce?

My deuce is down at the moment. My other one (now sold) was used to unload it and suffered some tailgate dings. Not really an option. And I honestly don't have time to pull the crane out there to pull the engine. If I could sell enough bits off it to come up with the funds I need by friday, I'd be more than happy to part it. But time isn't on my side with this one.

Wish there was a military vehicle pawn LOL. If time allowed I'd rather part it out to people here that need parts. I've got interest in the engine, axles, winch, and a few other bits. I need to call CSI and see if they'd be interested in the bed.

CSI is going to get with me on looking at it. I'm sure I'll be lowballed by them. But since the clock is against me, I'm game for pulling off parts not crucial to it's ability to drive on a trailer.

Wish I had the cash or time to make a trip, I think a trip to georgia to drive it home would be nearly as fun as the one to southwest PA I told you about... and I could save shipping on those tires rofl
