Dana 60 bearing failure

Recently got a 1984 m1009 blazer with a m1008 dana 60 front axle in a trade, on the way home the drivers side wheel bearings failed. I got it home on a trailer. Here is the questions..... What all do I need as far as bearings? I removed the tire and spindle after I got the mangled locking nut off. Hub locker is toast. Any ideas or help to get this resolved would be awesome thanks in advance.

The M1009 is a 1/2 ton, 10 bolt front ( GM center section) with dana 44 hubs & rotors and brakes. Any chevy 1/2 front for parts from 1980 to 1988.

The parts manual has all the GM parts numbers and a breakdown of each part. Look for the M1008 diagrams

The M1008 axles are the same as 1984 K30 axles. That is how the parts houses can lookup the parts.

Looked through the tm's and couldn't get any pics only a few steps of removal and installation of the wheel bearings. As far as the parts list couldn't get those to load. I bought the bearings from Oriley's auto parts a race and two seals. I cannot believe anyone hasn't done a right up on this yet. Thanks for the replies.

Could be because its a pretty cut and dry deal. If you can replace brakes you should know how to do the operation at hand. Need to know what parts you need? Tear the other side apart, You should anyways because it is probably not far behind in failing.

Tried doing other side seamed simple until I couldn't get the spindle lock nuts off and went to Autozone twice trying to get the correct spindle nut socket and still don't have anyone know for sure what size it is?

Dose yours look like a nut or dose it look like a washer with 4 notches cut in it?

Does oriley's, Autozone, or Advanced carry this part #? I am really new to one ton axles. Thanks for your help.

They should be able to cross reference it. Napa may be more helpfull.

Theres a Haynes manual for the Chevy and GMC trucks from the '70s and '80s. It covers replacing the hubs. Its a little lacking in pictures, but has pretty good instructions.

Thanks Ill check it out. pictures is what I need though. Napa is a hour away or so and odds are would need to order it. I really wish the main three I posted have it. Got two from Autozone so far with no luck. Got this blazer from member ALLENEM.

TM 9-2320-289-20, Chapter 8-3 and 8-4 and TM 9-2320-289-34P are the manuals you are looking for. Figures 124 and 101

The GM parts numbers are below the diagrams in the manual.

Thanks for your help guys got one side done. drivers side spindle doesn't wanna go on all the way. Any ideas thinking maybe inner bearing is on backwards.

Figured it out spindle got so hot that spindle swelled when it cooled. Sanded it down some and it's done. Thanks for all your help guys.
