Is there anyone near Wright Pat? Looks Like I may have a recovery mission in the near future and would like to get read on what I'm going to need for the truck. I would prefer to fly in and drive home to Texas as long as the truck is road worthy. Any help would be awesome!

This brings back horrible memories from my childhood. I changed all the tires on my pop's Mack dump truck with a hammer and tire irons. They were all tubeless one piece rims tho, and were such a pain in th a$$ to mount. We used ether and a match to get the bead to seat on the rims.....ahhhh...

The motor SGT said we are getting rid of them but I felt like it was a poor attempt to get me to stop pestering him about driving them. I asked the S4 if there were any transfer orders on them, or replacements due in and they had not heard about either. Having said that, they will be gone...

The ones we have are solid green with black camo. I haven't looked to see where the rebulid was. I'm working in San Antonio this week, but I'll be working back at our Austin facility next week where they are. I'll post a few pics next Monday.

I've been looking the 818's over from GL that are at Wright Patterson and they look just like the 5 that are in my motor pool in the TX Guard. All of ours are very low miles, have nearly perfect paint, and they haven't moved more than a few miles in the 2 years I've been in the unit. No one...

Wow! I figured when I started reading this thread that by the time I got to page 23 I would get to see the truck finished. Great job! With all the detailed work I'm not disappointed that it's not finished yet.
