According to the KY DOT once a farm truck is more that 150 mi from home, pulling an equipment trailer (personal tag) with a M816 on it, then you come under all of the DOT rules. Current medical, CDL, logbook, DOT number, full inspection, etc. They don't cut you any slack. Ask me how I know.

According to the catalog, these chains will fit all of the 11.00-20, 11.00-15TR, 12.00-22.5 and the 295/80-22.5 tires. The "rail chains" can be shortened and the cross links can easily be moved so they will fit smaller size tires.

The boom is not power down. Therefore, no pilot operated check valves. The check valve is composed of the housing (two screw together pieces), a compression spring, a piston plunger , o'ring, and flat washer. The M936 uses the same setup. Even without power, the boom lowers just the same as...

The two check valves are more likely to be restrictor valves that will limit the oil flow to keep the boom from a free fall situation in the event of a hose rupture. If they were 100% check valves, you could never let the boom down.

It probably is one of the boom cylinder piston seals by-passing oil.
