Thanks. You're right about the the fender design and lack of tiedowns. The more I look at it I think it could be made from a 1940ish pickup bed with tailgate added on front. Found this photo of a 1940 Chevy 1 ton pickup.
It's in rough shape so not sure it's worth buying, but does anyone know what model it is or is it even military?
Seller says the bed size is 4x8 but I haven't verified it.

Looking for your expertise on these things. Seller is advertising it as an old military trailer. I have my doubts, but maybe it was and has been heavily modded.
