Another bump to the top for you, hope you get back on the road soon.

    R.I.P.--73M819--Ron Harris

I am always saddened to see the passing of a fellow Vietnam vet, especially prematurely due to a tragedy. May God welcome him and be with his family until we all meet again.

    New to me A3

Shannon, just noticed you are in High Springs, I winter in Lake City. Lots of breakfasts at Bevs, LOL. I loved my A3 and wish I still had it. Yours is looking great.

    Deuce vs Fire

Def. looks like it could have been worse, but not much! Best of luck in your CPR work to revive her.

MEP-002A Left Connected when Main Power was Restored

Welcome aboard. I too have made a few mistakes with one of these gensets but they are tough machines. They almost heal themselves sometimes. Have you tried reflashing the field by turning the switch back to the start position while it is running? There is a protection relay system that should...

    Deuce Hood Lift Kit Availability

That is awesome! From a safety standpoint alone it is great to not have the hood wanting to blow over on you before you climb up there and secure it.

    Soft top insulation woes.....

Exact same thing on my recovery trip. The foam residue got in my eyes and made it impossible to see. I stopped at a rest area and cut out everything except the outer layer.

My M35A2 BUILD (I know there has to be thousands of these by now)

Looks like a great truck! I was in Killeen last year at the 1st Cav Div Assoc Reunion and last week they held it here in WV. Lots of Killeen folks there. I wanted to take my truck but nowhere to park it. Keep the photos coming and be safe out there!

    Wont start, need assistance diagnosing.

I had the exact same thing. Turned out to be the fuel shut off lever was disconnected. Follow the shutoff cable and remove the cap it goes into, make sure the lever is not swinging free. For me it was a cheap fix (free!). Hope you get her running soon.

    New VA member

I may be too far from you, 3 1/2 hours, but you are welcome to swing by and take my truck for a spin. I just finished a bunch of maintenance items, belts, hoses, filters, adjust valves and so on and the good news is you probably have most of the tools you will need.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Finally did some long overdue PM. Adjust valves, replace all hoses, new coolant, belts, filters. Bet I could have done it faster if I weren't 70. Anyway it is all done finally.

    M35 tires

I try to stay with the historical aspect of the truck so I am probably going to stay with the No Darn Traction tires she came with.
