    opinions on m105 axle swap

Share? Hey, I'm about clueless about axles and swapping them out and so forth. I was wondering if you could share what axle you end up with and the model number or measurements.....like looking at the smart persons paper during the test.... Thanks

I'd be willing to trade these tires to anyone with the 12.5x16 tires and rims. I saw a web site where these big tires are going for $200 a piece.....

Looks Sweet! Where does one get the rims from. I did a quick search on the web and found tires but not rims to fit the 6lug pattern. Did you get rid of the helper springs and axle or kept that as is?

    Custom Trailer Axles (M105)

By any chance you don't remember the measurements you gave them to make it do you? It would help me a lot to get one ordered for me. Thanks.

Actually I dont understand all the hype about the M105 being heavy and towing it...I have seen many post that suggested nothing less than a Ford Duramax with a super turbo and...... I towed it from SC to NC, with a Nissan Frontier!!! Burned a little more gas, but hills, corners and even over...

    Custom Trailer Axles (M105)

I just got my M105A2 and will be removing all the underside. I live in NC, about 2 hr drive to Richmond. When I get my new axle in, I could sell them to you.

Plans Thanks for the info. I am going to take the bed off, sand blast the frame, take off the axle and the 400lbs of air/electric brakes and cast drums off to lighten it up a bit, and get it down to my size. I have already rewired it for Civ 7 pin. That for me was the easy part, the axle and...

Hello all. Its funny how you see something in an ad and say " I could do this..... or that to it" then you get it home and realize how big and heavy the thing is. I am a proud new owner of a 1968 M105. The frame has some surface rust on the tongue but the under carriage is clean, the box looks...

    Finally Usable ! ! ! M104 ready for use

What size wrench do I need to loosen that bolt behind the hook so I can go buy one. Im picking up my M105 day after Christmas and I am going to tow it with a Nissan Frontier. Does that sound scary? Frontier spec says 6,500 Lbs towing but I only have a class 3 hitch which says tongue weight of...
