Lol. Well after some work I got the truck up and running. But the transmission is leaking like a sieve. So it looks like it is going to come out. Power steering pump is ****. That's gonna come out too. Moving on to the next truck with a turret!

well I went back to the shop and started to look around. the wiring has been hacked to **** and back. so I ended up running a hot wire to the glow plugs and bam it runs... now the tranny has got to have some serious attention!!!!

is it just swollen and broke off in there?

the one with the canopy is the one that I just finished, it is G3, one of the Generation Kill trucks

so been working on one of the Generation Kill truck, got one up and going (named it G3) and now working on G2. so far I have replaced the LF upper a arm, all the ball joints, steering tie rod, dog bones, rebuilt all the geared hubs, diff service, front brakes, front rotors. looks like iam going...

what im looking for is the 280-3. that will have the full schematic, so the links didnt help either way. when i get it ill post the 280-3 or just the schematic Battle Monkey Out!!

i know i should prob do a search on it. but im in a bind and need a full elec schematic for a 998 or a 1025. we got the 3 out of 6 Hummers that were used in Generation Kill. and boy do i have my work cut out for myself, aside from ball joints, transmissions, brake calipers and brakes, missing...

the truck looks great!! it is alot of work. when i was in Iraq/Afghanistan we always had to work on the Hummers, and as well as in my military career. we used to always joke about what we would do if we owned one. conversations were like this " i drop a cummings motor in it and...." or the chevy...
