The hard part is that there's nothing there at all. Looking through other auction photos it sure looks like both V-Belt and Serp Belt HMMWV's typically have the same alternator, likely the 200A. (1097R1's and A2's)

Would an M1097A2 have a 200A Alternator already?

I've already been searching threads but It's not clear what I need...I have a serpentine 4l80E HMMWV that I bought with the alternator missing. Will the one in the picture (From R1) fit with a pulley swap? What are all my possible options for my M1097A2?

Are they trying to pull parts to sell individually or did the military do that? I see many with all the gauges and switches missing.

Obviously the best way would be to remove it from their site and scrap it outside (Dump, recycle).

Sorry for the silly question but...What if I win an auction for a crate of stuff and I only want part of it? If it is scrap metal do they want any of it or is there a scrap pile there or anything? As you know some of these parts pallets are loaded with metal brackets etc. that have no value.
