    M1088 transmission trouble

What you are saying makes sense under the conditions it is working and not working under. I believe you could be correct on the three sensors and want to either replace or test them.

    M1088 transmission trouble

Sorry it’s been about 4 yrs since I drove my 1088 and trying to refresh my memory. Where are those three sensors and is there a way for me to test them? I have a diesel computer but have not been able to get codes on it figured out.

    MEP 804A power issue

New to me. Just never ran it, even on the video at the GOV auction they were holding the start switch so I believe it had a blown fuse from the start. I ran it for an hour today with no issues.

    MEP 804A power issue

I wasn’t sure if that fuse was going to be the issue but went ahead and checked and replaced. Everything is good now. Thank you for the help.

Finally got around to working on my MEP 804A, been reading the TMs and all threads dealing with these. I may juts not be the smartest guy, but I know some of you are. Starts and runs fine. If I hold it in start position it does in fact produce electricity. As soon as I release from start it...

MEP-804a no start (no power to fuel shutoff solenoid), it DID run recently.

I am having a similar problem. If I do hold the master switch at start position I do get power. When I release it to prime and run, I lose all power. Any suggestions?
