I’ve got a 2004 with a Detroit engine that suddenly developed a power loss at higher RPM. It starts fine and idles fine, and also runs fine at low speeds. As soon as we try to get above 35 mphnor
So, it looses power.
I appreciate the offer 98G. I have brand new slave ends and new 2/0 cable so I planned on making a set. I could use the crimpers for other MV related projects but, again, thank you for your offer….Bill
Thanks to everyone for your input. It sounds like the hydraulic crimper is the way to go, so that is what I will do. Now to find a good unit with steel dies rather than aluminum.

If your radios are in working order you are probably sitting on a gold mine. At least in terms of up here in PA. Working 524’s and 77’s are almost unobtainium.
Found a solution. By connecting a Wouxun KG-UV7D (with 6 meter capability) to a Rugged Radio Intercomm system (these are used for racing, talking with co-drivers and pit crews) the problem is solved. This Intercomm also allows cell and music access via Bluetooth if one desires. The headsets...
