931A2 not starting after filter change

Thanks so much. That did it. My bad for not looking it up to begin with. I do know better than to try and make it up. Its a 10mm bleeder screw and all it took was a little turn to let the air out and off she went!

931A2 not starting after filter change

Passenger side is up near the block. Is it the one right behind, on the back, behind the 6 injector nuts/lines? Has a center screw that would need an offset screw driver?

931A2 not starting after filter change

Always easy on the starter. I tried helping it along with some ether too. It fires and quits. Hope I'm using the correct bleeder: Its 11/16, definitely a bleeder screw, and is right at the rear of the IP?

931A2 not starting after filter change

Changed the oil and all the filters. Truck started up after fuel filter changes. Ran for a minute or so and I shut it down. Finished service. Went to start it up and it cut out. Checked for leaks/proper filter seating. Okay there. It gets fuel at the IP on the line from the primer pump (at the...

OKC Pick-up and Shipping assistance PLEASE

I've had way more stuff shipped here by Fast Track then I want to think about. I've got quotes from OKC and they are comparable. Moving surplus costs real money, but I don't live in Ohio or Oklahoma, and I like this stuff! These outfits offer a valuable service, and if I'm buying things I...

    Hydraulic Head leaking need advice!

It sure looks like two of the injector lines are moist. If your truck runs okay, fix the leaks and it will run better. Or fix the leaks anyways before you buy another HH.

You can also use Fast trac logistics--they are very professional.

    which generator/s for motorhome project?

No, the unit POWERS a cab/sleeper heater/ac unit. And generates power. Look at them as nifty on board generators. You can see them on trucks mounted right next to the fuel tanks, where other trucks might have a tool box. I have a flock of the MEP 002a gen sets. Awesome unit, but it's way to...

    which generator/s for motorhome project?

In big rigs, the APU saves idle hours. You can heat/cool cab and sleeper, charge the batts, and pre-heat the block. Make pop corn and watch movies. Uses a small efficient diesel fired engine. uses the truck's fuel tank and batts to start. These are small compact little beauties that are made to...

    backing up in low

It's all about control--match the gear to the speed, and the slower the speed the more control you will have in backing. This technique is even more important when backing trailers or manure spreaders.

    Hydraulic Head leaking need advice!

You'll need to be specific on where your "leak" is. At the nuts? There really isn't an "under nuts." The six lines attach at the top of the HH-compression fittings no O rings, and the HH attaches to the IP body by 4 bolts and it does have O rings. If they where bad your leaky fuel would be...

    which generator/s for motorhome project?

I'm thinking the way to go here is with an APU. They are gaining much favor in the civilian world. The military has been surplussing some but they are without controls. (good thread going on making a control panel) You could have heat, ac and power, use the truck batts and fuel tank. charge the...

M35 Master Cylinder NAPA Part No. Anyone?

My NAPA store delivers several times a day. It's also 15 miles each way to it or anything else. I use them for anything I can. I have a chart in my desk on which I write down part numbers that I see come up here in the forums, and some part #s come up in a search, but for many things they won't...

    Clutch adjustment woes

You may have to move the arm on the tranny a notch or two. I swapped motors on my shop van recently and that's what I needed to do to get the adjustment right.
