    Intermittent ignition problems

Well, the time awake in bed brought me to this....a NAPA fuse block, and a SPST toggle. Test drive was a success.....next an ice cream run with the boss to town with be the real test. Thanks again for all your input.

    Intermittent ignition problems

Again, appreciate the words of wisdom....but am in need of more. Finding an economic toggle switch is proving to be a tall order to fill......but: If the service rating amperage of a 12 VOLT rated switch is high, as innorth of 20 amperage, would it be fine running 24V? Again with finding...

    Intermittent ignition problems

Well, as far as I can tell, when the gauges work, she'll run......gauges sitting no fire at all. The back of the switch.......the rubberized filler is all cracked.

    Intermittent ignition problems

Looks like it's actually a 4 wire switch. I thought that bare bullet end was referencing ground,.....but it's not. It looks like a termination block, or resistor(?) Anyways, I found out with it bouncing loose, it has power.....weld flash! It didn't really bother anything as I then turned the...

    Intermittent ignition problems

I haven't taken the switch out, but from feeling around in the parking lot....there's 3 wires..... one coming from the big regulator box under the hood, one going to the spider harness for gauges, and one to the coil???? Thanks for the response.

    Intermittent ignition problems

Well, i haven't had my M37 8 months and had to have my wife tow me home....... On our way into town for an "ice cream" run, the truck, sputtered twice. At 40 mph, died, cam back.....drove on died and came back. Went another 4 miles into town without a hiccup. I thought I say the gauges...

    Replacing master Cylinder/bleeding tricks

My P.O. had replaced the master cylinder, and it really started to leak out the boot. So, not to mess around, I ordered a new "correct" from Mid-West Military. Looking at the install,.....are there ANY tricks in bleeding this off without tapping into all the brakes? I noticed there is a small...

    12 Circuit Wiring for lighting

I have a PO installed 12 V converter in my rig that powers up some "makeshift" roadworthy-esque lighting. I am very interested in picking up a Hot Rod type 12 circuit wiring harness and running a parallel 12V system to relamp and put some turn signals, etc. on my rig. I did a brief search and...

    Speedo cable routing.

The cable assy appears new but I haven't pulled it. On the speedo end it "appeared greasy" I guess I should eliminate that. What is the best lubricant?

    Speedo cable routing.

I just replaced my speedometer with a like new unit I found. (109 miles) The original speedometer would bounce like crazy, so I thought, well the speedometer is shot. The new one bounces a bit, but I have come to figure that my newer cable, via the PO may be binding. Please look at the photo...

    Clutch pedal adjustment

No, I haven't gotten into the manuals. The free play was in INCHES. The PO had already installed a 3/4" thick chunk or hard rubber below the floor deck to prematurely stop the pedal, or give it a soft landing. I had so.e 5/8" square stock, so I simply "added to it"..... Now I don't have to...
