    Engine cranks when connecting battery.

The starter relay under the dash could be stuck. This thread explains the problem a little and shows where the relay is at. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/doghead-starter-relay-modifcation.60960/

    Weare NH MV show

I’ll be there for the day Friday. Looking for some of the 5 ton wrecker issued tools and accessories if anyone has anything.

    M756a2 gin pole capacity

I believe a chart does exist, I think recovry4x4 sent me one many years back. I’ll look around and see if I can find it.

VT 36ft long M Series Tractor Cable

NOS, and about 36ft long overall. 12 pin for connecting a standard light outlet to the 12 pin semi trailer style end. I use a similar one for tow lights when I’m using a tow bar. $125 plus shipping cost from VT. I can bring it to the Weare NH show at the end of July too.

    CUCV II Pickup Cargo Cover

Yes m880 covers are similar, as are the 1980s CUCV cargo covers, but not quite the same as this one.

    CUCV II Pickup Cargo Cover

I thought m880 had the turn buttons like the m1008. I didn’t notice anything.

    CUCV II Pickup Cargo Cover

I got this cargo cover at a show some years back. It was sold as cucv pickup, and while it’s similar there’s some differences. The tie down straps instead of the turn buttons seems to line up with the hardware on CUCV II series trucks. It’s 8ft long and about the right width for a gmt-400...

    Accidentally bought a deuce

Might be worth looking at the fuel shut off. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/how-to-remove-the-fuel-shutoff-rod-on-the-ip.143476/ This is a pretty common reason for not running after sitting a while.

VT 5 Ton R6602 Zenith and Holley Carbs

I’m selling off some of my extra carbs for the continental r6602 engine. I have 5 zeniths left and a few holleys still. These were bought surplus in the 1990s and have been in storage since. Linkages and such may need to be straightened. The boxes that have a tag on them still are marked...

    Trailer canvas/trap ID on a M105 bed?

If I’m not mistaken the m103 generator trailer covers would have the wheel well cut out on the sides, not a flat edge.
